I n the article Gaziano et al, “Effect of Bromocriptine-QR (a Quick-Release Formulation of Bromocriptine Mesylate) on Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Type 2 Diabetes Subjects,” which published online October 12, 2012, and appeared in the October 2012 issue of the journal ( J Am Heart Assoc. 2012;1:e002279 doi: 10.1161/JAHA.112.002279), an error occurred in Table 3. In the row “CV death”, column “Bromocriptine-QR”, the originally published numbers of “4 (0.2)” were incorrect. These have been updated to read, “2 (0.1)”. The other numbers in the “CV death” row, and columns “Placebo” and “Hazard Ratio” were correct. This typographical error did not affect the analyses, results, or conclusion of the article in any way because the Hazard Ratio number with CI “0.48 (0.07 to 3.43)” for CV death is correct as originally published. The corrected table is below:
